Programs
In-Sight Dance Company's programs create new works of dance, raise the profile of dance in Queens, educate the next generation of dancers and dance enthusiasts, and serve the community. Click on the pictures to learn more about each of our programs.
Creating Dance
In-Sight Dance Company creates work that has an emotional, sociological, and/or cultural motivation. The movement and steps do not exist in a vacuum—but rather they provide insight into the meaning of the piece. We believe that dance should be accessible to our entire community. We create work that is approachable yet challenging. Through performances in intimate spaces, ballets that connect with human emotions, and site specific work in the community, we bring dance that moves audiences to think, to feel, and to act.

Dance in Queens
In-Sight Dance Company's work raises the profile of dance in Queens. Our annual dance festival has brought over 40 dance companies and artists to perform their work in Queens. In its fourth year, In-Sight Dance will bring dance to Labor Day weekend in Queens. An Open Call for submissions will be available in March. We will also unveil an internship program this spring.

Suite Summer Festival

Dance Education
In-Sight Dance Company believes that we have a responsibility to prepare the next generation of dance artists and dance audiences. The severe lack of diversity in dance companies and audiences concerns the artists at In-Sight Dance. We have programs that work to improve our community and the arts by bringing high quality dance education to students that typically would not have access to the art form.
